I have a Comic Book collection program that was built for me on Filemaker some 25 years ago.
It has files on the home page that read 'enter comics,' 'view a category,' 'sort A-Z,' 'print a category,' print all categories,' print a summary,' or 'Quit.' I have
1- I want to be able to eliminate some of those categories.
2- I want to then copy a category as needed to work on them to develop a new column showing costs where I have the paperwork.
If that can be done by moving those categories to excel, or simply allow me to scratch thru & ultimately save those changes to the whole, that would be great. The summaries & totals would of course have to reflect those changes.
I'd like to enter a couple of new columns on each category, change names, change category names, etc.
Frankly, I wish they were all on Excel which seems easier to do that with.
Can we talk by phone as well?
