I can not get my PC to connect to an SQL server database using ODBC. I have tried other computers running Windows and they get connected without problems.
However, my PC seems to have a setting activated that makes the ODBC drivers to behave wrong.
So far, I have tried many ways to solve the issue:
1. Remove ODBC drivers and reinstall them
2. Using all sort of variations of the connection strings (changing ports, tcp on, tcp off, default database, etc)
None of them work.
All the other computers work just fine and I do not want to reinstall Windows on my PC as I believe it should be a matter of just one simple change to my PC (maybe on the registry) made from someone with deep understanding of ODBC, Windows, SQL connections.
