Where a series of steps lends itself to quick scanning, place them in properly captioned tables. When a visual cue will save a paragraph of explanation, drop in a simple icon or illustrative screenshot—I’ll supply any source images you need, or you can pick from standard icon sets as long as usage rights are clear.
