I have a basic android messenger app which was custom built and still contains a few bugs. It uses microphone and comes with an administrative interface for managing the messages. There is one issue with the way the messages save to the drive, an issue with how it installs on some devices and one or two minor aesthetic changes to make at the front end (e.g. font, colour). I am looking for someone who can fix these and lives within easy traveling distance of Bristol, UK (where I am based) so that we can meet once or twice in person but you can work remotely. You would need to have the skills to edit the code to address these problems and have good communication skills, and patience with someone with limited knowledge of this kind of work. I am an artist working on a project about migration and human rights, which involves the use of this messenger app. With my limited background in app development I would estimate roughly 2 days of work depending on your experience. It would need to be done by July 2019. This is not a commercial project and as such the budget is limited to £500. It does not involve any design or development - more troubleshooting, testing, ironing out small issues, getting a fresh pair of eyes on it so that it is fail-safe.
