Bluetooth recording device

Hi all,
Goal is to improve upon a device (bluetooth recording device) and associated iOS code that will record conversations, save them on the device, and sync to an iOS based app.
The current device has two issues and one improvement needed. THIS IS THE PROJECT.
1) Issue: Conversations saved to the SD card do not sync quickly to the iOS App
2) Issue: Multiple conversations saved on the SD card sometimes do not sync to the iOS App and crash
3) Improvement: Currently, recording starts when the user press a button on the device. We want the enable speech recognition recording. So when the user says "Device record", we want the recording to start from then.
Current device:
1. The core processor is an ESP32 and NRFX5x, which has both BLE and WiFi capabilities. Also it has a good community driven libraries. (The bare module is 1.9cm/2.6cm in size). [login to view URL] for size reference
