Build a charity app

1. App will be called “Spark” as in we will put a “spark” in other’s lives who are less fortunate.

2. Should be similar to how Uber Eats works, where it will show the charities within a certain radius of the phone

3. Want to have a 1-5 star rating system and comments about each charity, so future users can see the ratings and comments if they wish.

4. When the customer goes on the app they can select form a few forms of donation:

a. Time (1/2 day, 1 day, or 2 days)

i. When they select one of these 3 time periods the time windows can show up. Would be 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm (for half day); and the 1 and 2 day windows would just show a calendar from which the customer can pick 1 or 2 days from. If 2 days, it can be separate days on a calendar.

ii. After they pick from the time windows, the possible charities that are available from these times should show.

b. Money (can donate 100Eur, 200Eur, 300Eur, 500Eur, or 1000Eur, or a custom amount, in Euro)

c. Time and Money – combination of (a) and (b) below

5. The charities and all their data must be loaded on a back end CRM (web based).

6. We want to have the ability for certain ride sharing services (Uber, Lift, local taxi apps, etc.) to work with this app eventually. We will be working on partnerships for this.

7. Once the customer chooses the time/money option and their charity, the system should send them a summary on the app of their appointment (and/or donation). It should also send them an SMS and email of their appointment (and/or donation).

8. There should be a search function in the app so people can search out specific charities of their choice.

9. There should be a category selection (like Uber Eats has), for the following categories (more can be added in the back end later):

a. Animal Shelters and Animal Help

b. Children

c. Elderly

d. Food Programs

e. Homeless

f. Immigrants

g. Medicine

h. Sanitation

i. Substance Programs

10. Would want this as separate apps for IoS and Android to keep the programming efficient
