Continuous offline speech recognition for Android developed in Java with Android Studio We are looking for an experienced Android speech recognition developer. Candidates must be able to provide examples of speech recognition software for the Android platform. The application must be developed using the latest version of Android Studio. The entire project must be exported to a zip file and transmitted to us. We will only accept project files that we can open, test and edit in our Android Studio. Please review the project outline in order to submit a bid estimate. We recognize that the bid may have to be modified once the design document is completed. Our team is very experienced in speech and voice recognition on the Windows platform. We have developed a proof-of-concept app using Android studio pocketsphinx in Java. We are open to recommendations of other speech recognition engines. Expected Development Process 1. Project design - this is a collaborative effort with the developer to determine the scope, look and flow of the application. The developer will be given a project outline with screen mockups in order to quote the project. a. Selecting a speech recognition engine b. Application design includes mockup of all screens with labels and associated text that describes the flow of the program. each screen will include a description of all elements and methods as well as the relationships to other screens. This process will entail a series of modifications and reviews until both parties are satisfied with the design. c. Final design with estimated scope and effort for Project funding. 2. Project Development a. Document project timeline and Milestones including testing and reimbursement. b. At each Milestone the entire project will be transmitted to us for testing and review. c. Any additions or reductions will be agreed to by both parties, and reflected in the application design document. 3. At the completion of the project entire project must be exported to a zip file and transmitted to us. We will only accept project files that we can open, test and edit in our Android Studio.
