This project needs to deliver an MVP within 3 weeks, so will suit prefer multiple developers - front end & backend. This is a sophisticated project that must look good, work elegantly on mobile (PhoneGap) and desktop. It utilises native capabilities such as the camera to scan barcodes. To be successful, the team will need to provide a high-level design including a time-boxed project plan. I expect a through analysis and understanding is developed before I award this project. The backend will utilise NodeJS & Express - ideally be backed by a SWAGGER2 specification. Here are the key MVP user stories: As a document owner: I want to create a document activity record so that I can track document workflows in the real world I want to annotate a document with it's title and a comment so that others can identify it later I want to upload a file to the document activity record so that I can track revisions I want to download a file revision - default to the latest version As a document worker: I need to scan a document containing a barcode so that I can confirm it's receipt I want to manually "tag" a document from a set of pre-approved tags so that it can be found easily I want to automatically "tag" a document with username, user's role(s), time/date and optionally, geo-location As a document user: I want to search for documents by keywords (title, comment), date range and/or tags I want to "follow" a document and be notified of changes that matches search criteria I want to view a dashboard of recent files that I "follow" I want to view the history of a file - tag changes by user, uploads by revision, As an administrator: I want to be able to create, update, delete users I want to be able to assign roles to users - owner, worker, user and admin. As a mobile document owner: I want to scan a barcode to create a new document activity record I want to scan a barcode to lookup a document so I can assign "tags" to the document As a mobile document user: I want to scan a barcode and retrieve the document's activity record I want to be push-notified when a document that I "follow" is tagged by someone else
