We are a small startup company which is working on small advertising monitors. These monitors are modified Android 7.0 tablets. We have taken one of existing tablets produced in China and we modified its housing and few functions. Now we would like to connect a human sensor produced by AKM under model name AK9752. This sensor works on I2C protocol. The CPU of the tablet is MTK 8783. We need to connect this sensor to tablet in order to determine if a client is standing in front of it or not. When human sensor senses a person in front of it, tablet wakes up and our special advertising software starts.

For more clarification, the sensor is embedded to tablet and connected to main board through FPC. The I2C interface is successfully setup and the sensor has been physically detected by the CPU. The producer has written firmware which can read the codes.
But they have bumped to a problem: "Data transmission with the sensor cannot be performed (because the algorithm prompts an error). When we compile software, it can't be continued as we meet the problem in the log. It needs fixed-point algorithm, but Japanese producer replied that they will not provide support for fixed-point algorithm based on android system, because they don't have plan for android yet”
