Scope of Work
Project Overview: An app that allows users to earn points by watching advertisements of local shop owners in his/her area. Points can be redeemed for money.
1. Sign Up Page
- Accept First Name, Last Name and Phone Number
- After this OTP is sent on the number and upon verification, account is created and user gets logged in
- No Google/FB login or Email login
2. Login Page
- Enter phone number and you'll get OTP.
- After entering OTP, you get logged in.
No passwords in the system. Login works via OTP only (like WhatsApp)
3. Preferences Screen
- Use sees a list of categories that he can select from. He will only see ads from that category.
- This screen is shown only once after login and can be edited later from settings
4. Profile Screen
- User is asked to enter date of birth, gender and location
- This is also shown once during sign up but can be edited later
5. Home Screen
- User sees a list of categories at the top (similar to OLX) and a bunch of ads below it
- User can only view one ad from one category per day.
- User can change the location by pressing the location button on the toolbar at the top
6. Ad View Screen
- Visible after user clicks on the ad
- User has to stay on the ad for 30 seconds to be eligible to win points
- Ad can only be image and not video or audio
7. History Screen
- See list of past ads that have been viewed by the user
8. Passbook/Wallet Screen
- View the total balance along with earnings and money withdrawn.
- A button for withdrawal request which will be handled offline and points deduced by admin manually
Following things cannot be covered in current scope due to budget constraints:
- Video/audio ads
- Push notifications
- Admin panel or interface
Project Plan
- 2 Days: Layouts for all pages
- 5 Days: API development and integration with app
- 2 Days: Testing & Bug Fixes
- 1 Day: Deployment to Play Store
