The "Hub" will be a Microsoft laptop. We want to use Android tablets as video conference tablets. Our goal is to have the tablets voice activated. For example, a user will say, "Open Conference 3", and a video window will pop up linked to the tablet identified as #3. Number 3 will beep or give some type of audible sound, indicating that someone wants to video conference with them. They would say, "Accept Conference", and the two can see one another as they chat. In the case of multiple conferences going on, the video window would need to have the capability of automatically resizing for 2 or more participants..., with each participant needing to say, "Close Conference" for them to exit the conference. The tablets would be 10 inch tablets. The laptop again would be the hub for all of this, would be on constantly. We would only need access to the laptop from outside of the building, but we would work with the client to establish that connection. What we also want to do is make sure that each laptop has a unique ID an ONLY tablets coded with that ID can be part of the system for that particular client. We would want to be able to enter that ID into the tablet and be able to ship to them, and it would automatically be part of that closed circuit when it is powered on. The idea is to have multiple customers that we could sell such a system to, with the ability to have as many tablets as they want in their circuit. Voice activation is critical to this project!
