The system consists of a Web server and a mobile social app . A user installs the application and as the first step he required to register (as in whatsapp). Once registered, he can find all his contacts that are also registered to the system. He can chat with them and also create groups and chat with his groups(as in whatsapp). User can also create events (birthday, wedding, party, etc.) and for each event provides data about the event such as type of event (birthday/wedding...), date , location , participants (group or people from his contacts who have an account in the app). Finally he need to provide an interested gifts for this event. The gifts he chooses are taken from a list of gifts recommended by the system depending on the event type. The gifts are imports from ebay and aliexpress using their API. The Invitees can see the gifts who celebrating the event wish to get, and they can buy it for him by their own or alternatively create a purchasing group. Gift acquired , will be marked as such to avoid a duplicate purchase of same gift.
