Read 2D Barcode and Display Results on Screen Project: The project is to use an Android 6 Mobile Phone with a high megapixel camera, Read 2D Barcode on a Driver’s License and display the results on the Mobile Phone screen. The results will include a facial Image in the Google Weppy format and Demographic text data. The application will show a background graphic which will be overlaid with the image and text data. Specifics: The preferred Mobile Phone is the Kata C2, although the M4 is the likely target. It has a 13 MP rear camera with good automatic focusing, good imaging tools and a 5.5” high resolution screen. I’ll consider any other Android phone that has better features and still costs under $200.00 USD or if the application works on any Android Mobile Phone, this will be best. The successful bidder will receive the 2D Code scanner SDK for Android 6, a link to Google’s Weppy, WebP format and code, sample 2D Codes, the background graphic, and the Kata C2 if needed. The successful bidder will need to image the code with the phone camera, use the output data from the scan on the phone, convert some of the data to the Weppy image, convert some hex data to text data, format and place the data and image in the correct location on the background, display the data and allow input from the phone operator to start, restart or stop the application. The successful bidder with furnish a working application for the chosen Mobile Phone, all source code and related input sources required to compile the application along with related instructions for compiling and installing the application if required.
