I have 600 Mbyte mysql table which is constantly queried by my website. The website uses memcache to reduce the number of queries to the table.
The table is also constantly updated with lower priority inserts.
I am looking to use Memory engine table to improve the spead of fulltext search on this table.
I need a mysql expert to access a development environment and:
1) alter table to convert it to a memory engine type
2) create a batch mechanism so that the constant insert updates may continue on a separate master table, such that the in memory table is updated only every three hours with the master table.
I am interested in the options now available in mysql, master-slave and clustering.
Clearly only mysql experts who have previous experience with master-slave and clustering need apply for the project
