Easy database application - Basically, it searches a list of telephone numbers for occurrences of a "word". Like in 0800-FLOWERS or 010-PIZZA. ABC=1; DEF=2; and so on, just like on the telephone keys. It should use flat database files so I don't need to import or export within this program. The text varies from 3 to 9 characters and could be anywhere in the number. The most difficult part, if there is any, will be the routine that converts words to telephone numbers.
It really does not matter in which language it is written. Important is that it runs stand alone (with .net or X11 would be OK) and with windows XP professional. Even better would be under MAC OS X 10.4! It should open and read simple non-indexed .dbf files and output to the same. I have attached the field formats and an outline of how the program should work.
Please don't bid if you can't start right away. If your offer is interesting, I will send you sample data at once. Thanks for your time.
P.S. There will be expansions of this project in the near future. (one to two weeks)
