I need a field engineer to be physically present at Goa Airport on 16 and 17 February. You must bring a laptop loaded with your preferred terminal software, a complete basic toolkit, and your own console cable so we can move quickly once onsite. The job is straightforward but time-critical: unbox, rack and power up one new router and one new switch, then run through the full console-based configuration, saving clean start-up configs before we hand the network over to airport IT. I will supply the configuration files. We may need to patch into a couple of existing lines for testing, so please be ready to verify link LEDs. Once everything is up, finish with a round of connectivity testing—ping, traceroute and a quick throughput check—to confirm that the airport LAN and upstream link both see the new gear. Deliverables on site: • Hardware installed, powered • Final running-config and startup-config files exported to my USB Your details required for an access pass; plan on six hours each day, but stay flexible in case the airport team needs extra validation.

I am an experienced Network Engineer with hands-on expertise in router and switch installation, console-based configuration, troubleshooting, and network validation in time-critical environments. I can be physically present at Goa Airport on 16th and 17th February with my own laptop (loaded with terminal software such as PuTTY/SecureCRT), full toolkit, and console cables to ensure smooth execution. I have strong experience in unboxing, racking, powering up network devices, applying provided configuration files via console access, and validating both running-config and startup-config before handover. I am comfortable patching into existing lines, verifying link LEDs, and performing connectivity tests including ping, traceroute, and throughput validation to confirm LAN and upstream link performance. I understand the importance of clean documentation and will export final configuration files to your USB as required. I am flexible with timing and prepared to coordinate closely with airport IT for any additional validation needed onsite.
