Making a secure call to Cloud Functions from NodeJS server. Make an example work.

I can't seem to make a call to my cloud function from my NodeJS server. I am trying to run this as an example: [login to view URL]
I need help in making this example work. I can share the code of cloud function and nodejs server. It only works if I have 'allUser' public access active in my cloud function. I don't need that!
