React-Node E-commerce Platform

I’m building a web-based store and need a developer who can own both the React front end and the Node.js back end. The goal is a production-ready e-commerce application with three core capabilities: a smooth shopping-cart flow, fast product search, and authenticated user reviews. You’ll start from my wireframes and colour palette, then turn them into responsive React pages that rely on hooks and functional components. On the server side, I expect an Express layer that exposes clean REST endpoints for products, cart, orders, and reviews, wired up to the database you feel most comfortable with (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar) as long as schemas for users, products, and orders are well-structured. Deliverables • Front-end code in React, including state management (Redux, Context API, or your preferred alternative) and secure token/session handling • Node.js + Express API powering the cart, search, and review features • Database schema and migration scripts • Basic unit tests and README with setup instructions • Deployment-ready build or Dockerfile so I can push straight to my cloud host Acceptance Criteria 1. A visitor can browse products and add items to the cart without page reloads. 2. Search returns relevant products in under 500 ms. 3. Registered users can leave, edit, and delete their own reviews. 4. Checkout flow completes up to the payment step with order data stored. 5. All pages score “good” in Lighthouse performance on desktop. I review work through GitHub pull requests and prefer weekly milestones.
