Odoo Time-Off Approval Automation

I want to replace our manual leave-request emails with a fully automated workflow inside the Odoo Time Off module. The HR department will own and operate the process, so the setup must be intuitive for them yet enforce a clear multi-level approval path (e.g., direct manager ➔ HR manager ➔ final confirmation). Here is what I expect: • Configure or extend Odoo so that every leave request automatically routes through the defined approval chain without manual intervention. • Ensure each approver receives in-system prompts and email notifications so no request stalls. • Provide a concise guide showing HR how to adjust approvers or steps later on. • Run a short test cycle with me to confirm requests move through every level and reflect correctly in employee balances. The instance is already live; I will give you admin access on a staging copy first, then production once we sign off. Familiarity with Odoo Studio, server actions, and Python customization is welcome so you can choose the cleanest approach—whether that’s advanced configuration or a lightweight custom module.
