Here is the flow I am aiming for: once an employee submits an expense, the request should automatically route to the employee’s manager. After that first sign-off, it must move straight to the finance department for the final green light. Throughout the two-step chain both approvers should be able to approve, reject, or request clarification with a single click, and each action must be time-stamped, logged, and visible to the requester. You’re free to suggest the best stack—whether that’s Zapier, Power Automate, UiPath, a custom Python microservice, or something similar—as long as the finished solution integrates smoothly with our Office 365 environment and can be maintained without heavy coding once deployed.
