Microsoft 365/Office 365 expert to advise how to fix Onedrive problem

Urgently need Microsoft 365/Office 365 expert to advise how to delete folders in Onedrive (Microsoft 365) account. Because get error message “You have to delete all items in this folder before you can delete the folder” when try to delete folder. Also after deleting lot of individual files in the folder, maximum only 8.4GB amount of space is available. No matter how many files we delete, it always show only 8.4GB free available space. If you are Microsoft 365 expert and can advise solution to fix this Onedrive (Microsoft 365) files/folder deletion problem, please message me urgently.
