Sixteen years of mechanical and software development have brought our motion-control product to a working breadboard built around an ESP32, stepper motors, drivers, encoders, brakes, a LiDAR module and various limit switches. What we now need is an experienced electrical engineer who can transform this proof-of-concept into a reliable, production-ready solution. The immediate scope covers circuit design, PCB layout and the complete wiring/connection strategy. You will take the rough sketches and functional breadboard, validate every signal path, size protective components, place and route the board, and specify harnesses, connectors and test points so that assembly on our factory floor in Bayswater, Victoria is straightforward and repeatable. Because we plan to manufacture at scale, I need more than a tidy schematic. I expect comprehensive documentation that explains component choices, includes annotated schematics, BOM, Gerber and pick-and-place files, as well as clear testing procedures we can follow internally to sign off each board revision. Deliverables • Production-ready schematic (Altium, KiCad or comparable format) • Routed multi-layer PCB files with Gerbers, drill files and assembly outputs • Wiring/harness drawings and connector pin-outs compatible with our existing mechanical envelope • Full documentation pack: BOM, design notes, validation checklist and step-by-step electrical test plan I can provide the current breadboard, firmware source, mechanical CAD and plenty of time on the shop floor for live debugging.
