I need a small 33 x 29 mm membrane touch latching switch printed circuit board (PCB) with only 8 SMDs on it, copied for a obsolete device. I'm looking to get 100 of these made, possibly 200 depending on pricing. I can send the 6 component list and photos of the circuit board and a complete [login to view URL] circuit board is this 2 sided. The active devices are a ATMEL TINY 13A (needs programming and a PA1CD (i think it's a zener diode, 4 resistors and 1 capacitor. On the decal side there is a small led that lights when latched. It needs to be copied exactly because this switch circuit gets glued into a recess in a plastic case with cutouts for the components so the board lays flat. I may not need the switch decal. Run on a 3.7VDC battery. Key Requirements: - Exact replication of the existing PCB design - High-quality and durable materials - Experienced in PCB design and fabrication Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in PCB design software - Experience with consumer electronics, specifically portable devices - Attention to detail and quality assurance Please provide samples of previous work and relevant experience.

Hi, I am an embedded systems engineer with over 16 years of experience developing compact consumer electronics from reverse engineering and schematic capture through PCB layout, firmware, prototyping, testing, and production. I can accurately reproduce this 33 x 29 mm two-sided board while preserving its outline, component positions, clearances, membrane-touch behavior, LED indication, and reliable operation from a 3.7 V battery. I will inspect the original assembly, identify and verify the PA1CD and passive components, recreate the circuit and PCB, and prepare fabrication and assembly files. I can also handle the ATtiny13A firmware: first checking whether the original device can be read, then recreating its latching behavior if its code is protected. Before ordering 100–200 units, I recommend validating a small prototype batch mechanically and electrically in the plastic enclosure. Could you confirm whether the bid should include design and prototypes only, or also fabrication and assembly of the full production quantity? Previous commercial designs cannot be shared publicly, but relevant samples can be shown privately. Please contact me to discuss details.

Hi there, I carefully reviewed your requirements and the photos of the original **33 × 29 mm two-sided membrane latching-switch PCB**. I can reverse-engineer and reproduce this board while keeping the outline, rounded corners, component locations, switch/contact area, LED position, and overall height compatible with the existing plastic recess. I have experience with PCB reverse engineering, compact consumer electronics, ATtiny AVR microcontrollers, SMD design, programming headers, transistor/diode circuits, LEDs, and production-ready PCB design using Altium Designer and KiCad. From the photos, the board includes the ATtiny13A-class MCU, passive components, LED/switch area, discrete device, and ISP/programming connections, all of which can be recreated and verified from the physical sample. I can provide the schematic, exact PCB layout, Gerbers, BOM, assembly files, programming interface, and support fabrication/assembly for the initial **100 units with pricing scalable to 200 units**. If the original ATtiny firmware can be read, I can also help duplicate the programmed functionality; otherwise the latching behavior can be recreated from the required operating sequence. Just send me a message with the component list and, ideally, one complete working sample, and I can begin the reverse-engineering process quickly. Best regards, Samuel tshibangu

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hi, This is a great fit for precision PCB reverse-engineering. Since the board has to fit the existing plastic recess and component cutouts exactly, I’d treat the original assembly as the mechanical and electrical master rather than redesigning the circuit unnecessarily. I can recreate the 33 × 29 mm, 2-layer PCB from your photos/sample, identify and verify the components (including the PA1CD), reproduce the SMD placement, LED position, routing and board thickness, and prepare the manufacturing files for 100–200 units. The ATtiny13A programming is also important for an exact functional copy. If you have the original programmed chip or firmware/programming information, I can account for that during the reproduction. I’d suggest: Inspect and reverse-engineer the original board Recreate schematic + PCB layout with exact dimensions Verify fit, component clearances and electrical operation Produce Gerbers, BOM and fabrication-ready files Support the 100/200-unit manufacturing run and QC Please send clear photos of both PCB sides, the component markings, and ideally one complete assembly/sample. Once I can inspect those, I can confirm the exact replication approach and provide a fixed price for the design and production quantities.

Hi, I have experience reverse-engineering and redesigning compact embedded PCBs using AVR/STM32/ESP32 MCUs, including boards with fewer than 10 components and tight mechanical constraints below 40 mm. I routinely deliver production-ready schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, Gerbers, assembly data, and DFM checks for prototype-to-100+ unit manufacturing. Approach ✅ I will reconstruct the exact schematic from the original PCB, component list, photos, and physical assembly, including verification of the ATtiny13A, PA1CD device, LED, resistors, capacitor, and touch-switch behavior. ✅ I will reproduce the 33 × 29 mm two-layer PCB with matching component positions, board outline, pads, clearances, and mechanical fit so it drops into the existing plastic recess without modification. ✅ I will prepare manufacturing files, BOM/MPNs, programming requirements, and assembly documentation and perform a final DFM/functional review before the 100–200 board production run. Questions ✅ Can you provide clear high-resolution photos/scans of both PCB sides, exact board thickness, and the original assembled unit for measurement? ✅ Do you have the original ATtiny13A firmware/HEX file, or will the existing MCU need to be read and duplicated if its lock bits permit? Best, Yaroslav

Okay, I got what you want exactly. I am a Full Stack Engineer PCB Designer with 10 years of experience, providing PCB reverse engineering, schematic recreation, SMD component identification, AVR/ATtiny programming, 2-layer PCB layout, and manufacturing files. In my opinion, the best approach is to carefully reverse-engineer the original board and reproduce it exactly, including dimensions, component positions, traces, LED location, and mechanical clearances. I would also verify the circuit and ATtiny13A programming so the replacement behaves identically on the 3.7V battery. This project is very similar to my previous works. I have worked on obsolete and legacy PCB replacements where the original board had to be reproduced from physical samples, photos, and component information. I have experience creating compact 2-layer SMD boards with tight mechanical constraints and preparing production-ready files for small manufacturing runs. ✅ So, I will divide your project into three major steps. 1️⃣ Reverse-engineer the original PCB, dimensions, components, and circuit. 2️⃣ Recreate the schematic and exact 2-layer PCB layout, including mechanical clearances. 3️⃣ Validate the design, program the ATtiny13A, and prepare production files for 100–200 units. Via private chatting or meeting, I will provide the creative idea and good tech solution for your project. Best regards. Maksym

Hello, copying this 33 x 29 mm switch PCB is really about reproducing a very tight mechanical fit while keeping the circuitry reliable in the original plastic recess. I work regularly with Electronics, PCB Layout, and Prototyping, which fits closely with what you’re trying to accomplish. I’d start by reviewing the board photos, assembly, and component list, then handle the footprint recreation and a DRC-ready PCB layout in a structured way, testing the fit and component clearance as I go rather than leaving validation until the end. The goal would be to deliver a precise, durable board that is exact and quality-focused. I can begin right away and should have this completed within 2 weeks. One thing I’d like to confirm before starting: do you want the ATtiny13A firmware duplicated as well, or only the PCB and BOM? Best regards, Miguel

I've spent 20+ years in electronics and firmware work: PCB reverse-engineering, 2-layer layout in KiCad, and AVR firmware for ATtiny/ATmega parts. I've run small-batch SMT assembly jobs through JLCPCB and PCBWay, so populating and programming 100-200 boards is a normal job. The hard part isn't the schematic, it's making the copy sit flat in your case recess and getting firmware onto a locked ATtiny13A with no source code. - Rebuild the schematic and 2-layer layout from your photos and parts list, matching the 33x29mm outline and mounting holes so it drops into the cutouts flat - PA1CD isn't a part I know offhand, so once you send the list I'll pull the datasheet and confirm if it's a Zener before locking values around it - The ATtiny13A almost certainly has lock bits set, so I can't read the old code. I'll write new latch/debounce/LED logic from scratch matching how the switch behaves - 3.7V rail means the resistor and LED current-limit values need resizing for that voltage - First batch of 5-10 boards assembled and programmed for you to check fit before the full 100-200 run You get the schematic, gerbers, BOM, firmware source, and a few tested boards before the full run ships. Question: can you send a short video of the switch latching/unlatching so I can match the timing? I can start right away.

Hi, I’m an Electronics/PCB Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in PCB reverse engineering, schematic capture, embedded hardware, component selection and production-ready PCB design. I can reproduce your obsolete 33 × 29 mm two-sided PCB while preserving the original electrical and mechanical characteristics. I can handle: * Reverse engineering from PCB photos, component list and complete assembly * Exact 33 × 29 mm board geometry and mounting/component locations * Two-sided PCB layout and SMD placement * Schematic reconstruction and electrical verification * ATtiny13A circuit and programming/firmware considerations * Identification and verification of the PA1CD device * Resistor, capacitor and LED verification * 3.7 V battery operation and current consumption checks * Component clearances to ensure the PCB remains flat inside the plastic housing * Gerber, drill, BOM and pick-and-place/production files * Prototype fabrication and 100–200 unit production support Because this PCB must fit into an existing molded enclosure with component cutouts, I’ll pay particular attention to component height, placement, board thickness, polarity and mechanical clearances, not just reproducing the electrical circuit. Best regards,

Hi, We are available to take this on and get your membrane touch latching switch PCB copied and working perfectly. The main issue with replicating obsolete double-sided circuit boards is usually ensuring the exact component placement and dimensions line up so it fits into the plastic case recess without clearance issues. Are you planning to provide the exact Gerber files or measurements from your photos, and do you want us to handle the microcontroller programming for the ATtiny13A? We recently built a similar compact PCB layout and replicated a custom circuit board for a portable device client that required strict physical dimensions and exact SMD component positioning. We used PCB design software to reverse-engineer the schematic from photos, programmed the microcontroller, and ensured all clearances matched the target housing enclosure. My fix stopped their hardware from failing alignment checks and made the manufacturing run go smoothly for their team. We are eager to discuss the project further. Reach out to initiate a conversation! Best regards, Quantum Code Solutions
