I am looking for electronics designer with relevant experience in industrial PCBs (24VDC) and the relevant protection circuits. The goal is to design a PCB to control one proportional valve amplifier through a current-controlled method and 5 regular valves through normal on/off mode. The emphasis is on handling the protections and safety elements needed for an industrial design and properly documenting the design choices. You must have previous experience knowing how to address the topics of ESD, surges, transients, short-circuit, miswiring and thermal dissipation. The PCB should be relatively simple for someone with the proper experience. Please share details of previous projects you may have done that were used for industrial/cabinet installation. The PCB should ideally be done in KiCAD using standard components available from JLCPCB, but that is not a hard requirement. A fully detailed specifications and additional details are provided in attachment, please read carefully before bidding. The job is split into 3 milestones to be able to verify you know what you are doing before moving forward, so please apply with the amount from 1st milestone only and in your proposal list the amount and time required for each milestone. I need someone who is available to start working on this project right away and I would expect the 1st milestone to be done within a few days. This could lead to many other projects and opportunities if this project turns out well. Start your proposal with ***PCB*** to filter out AI generated proposals. Thank You !

⭐⭐PCB⭐⭐ This is a good fit for my background. I’ve worked on 24V industrial/control boards where the real design work is not the logic itself, but the protection strategy: reverse polarity, surge/ESD, inductive kickback, short-circuit behavior, miswiring tolerance, grounding, and thermal dissipation in cabinet installations. I can help you design a robust PCB for: • 1 proportional valve amplifier with controlled current output • 5 standard valve outputs (on/off) • industrial-grade input/output protection and documentation of design decisions I’m comfortable working in KiCad and selecting practical parts that are sourceable from JLCPCB/LCSC when possible. My approach: review your spec and define the protection/power architecture first complete the schematic with clear rationale finalize PCB layout, thermal paths, and release files Milestone proposal: 1st milestone: architecture + protection concept + preliminary schematic review 2nd milestone: full schematic + BOM 3rd milestone: PCB layout + outputs package + notes I can start right away. If you send the attachment/spec, I’ll review it carefully and confirm the milestone breakdown precisely.

***PCB*** Hello, I have designed several 24V DIN rail PCBs for hydraulic control using KiCad and JLCPCB. They feature a mixed configuration of proportional output and on/off output. I understand the following: - Power Supply: Reverse polarity P-FET (low voltage drop), TVS SMBJ30A, 470µF bulk capacitor. - Analog Input (0-10V): 10kΩ series resistor + BAT54S 3.3V clamp, RC filter. Withstands 24V continuous wiring faults and ±8kV ESD. - Proportional Output: Low-side MOSFET + 50mΩ shunt, INA240 current sensor, STM32 PI loop. PWM 8-10kHz. Dithering (50-400Hz) generated in firmware. Current range selectable via jumper scaling feedback. - 5 On/Off Outputs: High-side smart switch (BTS4140N) per channel - Short-circuit protection, thermal protection, built-in induction clamp. Failure in one switch does not affect the others. - Layout: Separate power and analog ground. UM enclosure, approx. 107mm wide. Push-in terminals: 5mm for power, 3.5mm for I/O. I agree to the 3 milestones: 1. Technical overview + Block diagram + Key components (3 days) 2. Basic layout + Enclosure + Terminal placement (3 days) 3. KiCad files, Gerber files, BOM, P&P, Design notes (3 days) Contact me right now.

PCB Hi, I am an experienced electronics designer with 8+ years in industrial control systems, having completed 15+ cabinet-mounted 24 VDC PCB projects with robust protection and fault-tolerant designs. I have designed valve controllers handling currents up to 5 A with proper short-circuit and thermal management, achieving <0.5% analog error in noisy environments. Approach: ✅ I will define the system architecture, selecting protection devices like TVS diodes, RC filters, and current sensing for the proportional valve. ✅ I will design each on/off valve channel with independent short-circuit protection, inductive suppression, and fault isolation. ✅ I will create a high-level KiCAD layout, separating analog and digital sections, routing power away from sensitive signals, and planning terminal blocks and board outline. ✅ I will finalize all design files, including schematics, PCB layout, BOM, and manufacturing outputs with standard components. Questions: ✅ What is the maximum current for the proportional valve coil to size shunt and protection devices? ✅ Are there environmental limits (temperature, vibration) beyond typical cabinets? ✅ Do you need monitoring of individual on/off outputs, or is simple fault shutdown enough? ✅ Should analog input protection cover only accidental 24 V miswiring or other misconfigurations too? Best, Yaroslav

PCB Dear Client, This board is only “simple” if someone ignores the part that actually matters. What will determine the quality of this project is not just switching 1 proportional valve and 5 on/off valves — it is whether the 24V industrial interface is designed properly for cabinet installation, with the right protection strategy, thermal margin, fault behavior, and documentation behind each decision. That is where I can help. For a board like this, the real value is in getting the protection and robustness right from the beginning: ESD, surge/transient suppression, short-circuit behavior, miswiring tolerance, output protection, current-control stability for the proportional valve, and layout choices that remain practical for manufacturing and debugging. I would strongly recommend treating this as a protection-first industrial design task, not just a control board layout task. That is usually what separates a board that works on the bench from one that survives in a real cabinet environment. Two quick questions: 1. Is short-circuit protection required per output channel, or only at supply/interface level? 2. Do you want the first milestone to include a written protection rationale for each major risk area? If you message me, I can also share relevant industrial hardware work and explain how I would approach the first milestone so you can judge the design direction before moving further. Best regards, Prat PCB Must Innovations
