I am a game operator and computer tech. Unfortunatly I am a script kiddy. I need a serious programmer who can write this game from scratch. standard 32bit pc platform. it is a matching game. game must be similar to one pictured. game starts with 3 empty blocks each with 3 empty verticl slots. each colum has 3 symbols. player must place verticl stack of 3 symbols in seprate blocks, eventualy filling all blocks. the purpose of the game is to score points which are pictured in the table. short video of game is avaliable. programer must be able to put this game and a on a thumbdrive that will boot full version of windows xp. programmer must be able to program the following %'s for the game. 50, 60, 70, 75, 78,80,82,85,88,90,92, 95, 98, 110, and 150. i have a proto type game scriped by another programmer. this can be decompiled. game must have simple 32 bit sound. sound bit to be defined by me, but not to exceed in total 30 seconds. must also be able to include modules at a later date. such modules are, jackpot features and the like. also connectivity to main computer via ethernet for real time reporting. source code will belong to me. all rights will be mine. resolution will be 600x800. 24 bit color or better. game must keep a log file of last 5,000 games. game must boot under 15 seconds. game must also program serial port to detect depressed buttons and cabinet switches. i am flexible witht his requirement. game must be able to retain credits on restart. game must be able to be shut down (by pulling the plug) and restart with no problems.
There seems to be a misconception that this is a web based game. this is not a web based game. this is basicly a slots game. the game will work on a standard 32bit pc. the game will sit alone in a cabinet, much like the pac man games of yesterday. the remote reporting function is extra function that will be installed later. You must prove that you can create the game so it can be unplugged at night and damage will not occur to the os.
the resolution must be able to go higher than 600x800. up to 1200x 1600.
Programmers must present a plan as how they will interface all necessary buttons and switches. there will be at least 20 buttons and switches.
the game will run on a 32bit pc, but there will not be any keyboard or mouse. to play the game the user will press buttons. just like an arcade game, so i want a serial interface for the buttons, I would also like to be able to program light sequences for an array of some 50 or so lights. for instance, when the player has a choice in the game, one or more buttons (with lights in them) will light up and flash to tell the player which options are best. at the same time, when the game is not being played, the lights will flash in a pattern to attract players.
to make a note, the light and button interface does not necessarily need to be serial, but you must be able to make it work. another idea i had was to utilize stamp boards, and connect them to 48v distribution boards, to control the lights, this way the programming interface for patterns can be digital.
i'm thinking of utilizing 2 separate stamp boards, both with either serial or usb
for instance instead of the program running the light sequence, it will send a "light sequence 5a" to the light control stamp, this stamp
then runs the proper light sequence. the button board will not necessarily need to have a separate distroboard. this can be incorporated into the stamp breakout board. each stamp must have at least 24 i/o's. they must also be able to interface with modern bill acceptors and coin comparators. this means they will need to be clocked. this is not too big, as clocks are readily available and more often than not are incorporated into the stamps.
one problem i have with current machines, is that all too often the techs end up shorting out the main board. it's sturdy enough to withstand it, but sometimes i loose 400usd in parts just to some stupid error. utilizing the 3 module design( cpu, light and button stamps, and 48v distro board) i feel would reduce errors and cut down on mtbd significantly.
a company in the usa called happ controls used to make a usb-serial i/o board, but they stopped last year. if the programer could get something similar to work that would be a very viable option.
I want to incorporate some sort of usb security key to prevent someone from stealing my machine and copying the code. Remember the source for the game belongs to ME! currently i am looking at sentinel from www.safenet-inc.com but other solutions will be considered. I want strong protection...
There is a lot of work to be done, and this is only the beginning. There will be many changes and features i want to add down the line, those changes of course will be extra money for the programmer. if any of you bidders have not already spoken to me, please do so.
