This is the second time I am submitting this project for bid. The first time, I received bids and then some of the bidders changed their bids, or was not abilited to do the script. Please, if you are going to bid on this project, give me your firm price and bid only if you can do the job!
I will put money in escrow, upon testing and successful implementation on server, payment in full will be released immediately.
- Dedicated server running with Fedora 8, Core2duo processor and 3Go RAM.

To resume, the work you have to do is:
Developp a script that connect to my database and select all the ip adresses with their port and test 600 adresses simultanously.
The number of adresses to test simultanously must be in a variable, so that I can change this value at anytime.
The timeout will be set to 25 seconds.
- If the distant server is online, his ip and port will stay in the database and the field "Status" will be updated to Verified and the field "LastCheck" will be updated too.(date+time)
- If the server is down, his entry will be deleted from the database.
The script will run like a daemon and test all adresses continuously. If the server crashes or reboot, the script will run again without intervention.
Some entries are added during all the day into the database, they will be tested too.
You install the script on my server and provide a documentation page for how to setup the code and install all modules required.
