Owl Illustrations needed for iPhone App - repost

I am seeking a creative illustrator to design an "owl" character that will be used on a deck of tarot type cards in an iPhone App.

The illustration needs to be of a quirky style owl (see [url removed, login to view]+owl&hl=en&tbo=d&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=ERvCUNXBCvC10QWo7YGQBw&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAA&biw=1146&bih=558) but still keeping a spiritual feel if possible.

It is intended that there will be 52 illustrations needed in total over time, but starting off with 36. Each owl illustration will try to convey a different word/emotion/feeling (see attached for an example of a cartoon character doing this with some of the expected words).

I would like in the first instance to be presented with 3 different "Owl" concept sketches and on a decision being made to then go ahead and commission each of the illustrations.

The owl used in each sketch will need to look like the same owl but with a different expression/pose on each card. So there will be a standard owl that gets manipulated to fit the "words" intention or meaning.

My budget is $30 max for each illustration, but as i will end up needing 52 this could be quite a lucrative project for the chosen designer.

To be considered you will need to have a verifiable portfolio of work done.
