So honestly, I have an eye... I love capturing life moments, knowing that someday it’ll spark a memory for someone. I believe photographs are so important in today’s world. Maybe I have it all wrong, but you read these blogs about parents living on their phones! Well what do you think they’re doing they’re in their child baring years! What better in today’s world as it’s conformed so much to our technology than through capturing moments where you’re happy and things you love and sharing them. Well that kind of tells you my age! I’m young but I’m not that young? 3 kids will give you a better idea! But don’t let that hinder your dedicated continuation to this informal proposal. I’m smart, if I don’t know it i’ll figure it out. I’m a fast learner with a constant desire to become better. I have a family but I also have Me! And I show that through art! I’m passionate about it and I believe I have the ability to be successful if what people say about my stupid phone shots I randomly get once in a while of a perfect moment are true (I do have a canon.. So thats what drives me. I have the eye but I hate both editing and the photoshop.
So down to the point (if you've gotten this far.) what my business proposal is, is that I find a great photo editor that’s responsible and dedicated to editing my photos for me in a timely matter. Someone that can hold dead lines and grow with me. I’ll do the rest. Set appointments, meet with clients, build website (unless you’d like to, I won’t complain.) I would however love a say in what the websites style and vibe it gives off. I’d also handle the preference documents, release forms for client/copyright, and of course pay to have the LLC for our (hopefully) company! “A Touch of Purpose!” When it comes time to do so! Which I have no problem having an attorney writing out any answers to questions, money guarantees by dates, commission etc. HOWEVER: what this would mean is exactly what they preach. All good things take time.
So How my application would go: you will email me your interest in pursuing the opportunity at hand
I would send you a photo I personally took. When received I would like you to take your moment to choose if 1: style in photography was right for you AND 2: is my out of control business idea making you think I’m crazy ha! If any doubt at all say sorry not interested! No harm done!!
If you do however want to edit and further discuss my proposal, than please send me an email back stating you chose to edit with your resume attached and edit the photo to what your style would be to the best of your ability and send it back to me! And also, my last request! Write a cover letter! It doesn’t have to be long or well thought out. I want it to be the opposite of a general cover letter that pretty much summarizes your resume you just spent hours on! I want to know you! You don’t need to be super in-depth, but like you had a chance to catch my personality in my project proposal , I’d like the same opportunity from you! Don’t stress about grammar, or editing! Just let it be comfortable and something you don’t have to stress about. —I firmly believe that people who can be professional but lax when it comes to dealing with each other rather than awkward succeed much further. So I’ll be looking for personality as well as I hope you consider it as well!
