This app is for our in office use only to track, review and scan inventory through the iPhone/iPad. All information should be linked to our oscommerce web catalog - all product information can be retrieved from there. We have a already customized V2.2 RC2 osCommerce cart online. We do not need a particular design, a generic nice looking frame will do.
We are not sure about the budget (its flexible) but we are looking for quality and an ongoing future relationship!

Before building the app:
We need to have a feature on our OSC product website that creates barcodes for each product. We have about 500 products. We want to be able to pint barcodes from the website as needed to be used with iphones/iPads.
1. Need to be able to scan barcodes from products with iPhone/iPad to look up product details (item-code, name, description different prices, measurements etc). This information should be generated from our OSC database.
2. Need to be able to scan products when we receive shipments and create a "received item list". After completing a received shipment we want to be able to easily add all these items to the inventory in our oscommerce catalog or print out a packing list. We are using the "Ajax Stock" add on to show winventory.
3. We need to store all received shipment packing lists in a section that we can look up at all times.
4. We need to create a section for our vendors to scan items while they are loading products to be shipped to us. After they scan the products for the entire shipment they should also be able to email us the packing list of the items - through iPhone/iPad. A basic invoice type form would be enough.
