I have a website where I have developed some code to do some real basic inserts and updates. I want to take it to the next level with what I have seen from AJAX. It's a wordpress site using a mysql and php. This project will need to be integrated into wordpress. If you aren't familiar with wordpress, you will need to be with PHP. I can be of assistance though for integration.
Right now the code inserts a date, primary id, and time based on a users ID. I then run a bunch of calculations on this data. It's all percentages and pretty easy to do. Examples would be: percentage for this year, last year, this month, for each day of the week, etc...
At the beginning of the script I have it check to see if the table exists, if not, create it. I also give the user the option to delete this table if they want to start over. The one that I like the least right now is updating missed days of entering data on the site. It's not very easy to do with the way I have it set up. I'm sure my code is a mess, but could be used with this simple project.
I've attached an example of some of the code I have already done. Please treat this as confidential and copyrighted.
Also, I'm open to any technique, AJAX or other. I've just seen some great stuff in AJAX and like how it looked.
