I WANT TO BE CLEAR FROM THE BEGINNING, I DO NOT WANT AN OSCOMMERCE SITE. I want a jewelry site either from scratch or if you've created several in the past, provide samples. Simplicity is what i am looking for. Obviously, you have to have strong experience in PHP to follow directions smoothly. Add prices to the site i would like to offer my registered customers the option to see cost of diamond. If they are not registerd they do not see prices. I will have to have prices connected to the stock. The prices will be shown in UK Pounds based on Rapport price list minus % discount divided by Pounds Rate (daily rate which can be changed by me), price per Ct, and total for the stone. when the price list is going up, all the prices on the site will change accordingly. We can update the price list manually (as i said before). I also want to upload a file of stones with all information to website via Excel spreadsheet. This will upload to MYSQL database. ---------------------------------------------- 2. shop address when a registered customer is interested in buying a product, he/she can query the nearest store which supplies the product. He/she will do this by entering a zip code. I want to provide a map (google map / yahoo map / mapquest / etc) to show registered customer the location of shop. The customer will have up to see a list of 5 shops at any given time. ---------------------------------------------- 3. Query for products the registered customer usually knows what shape diamond he wants and she will know her budget, so i would like to allow doing a query by size, shape, color, clarity, price and a combination of all (such as the example websites i provided) ---------------------------------------------- 4. Log report i want a report which provides me with the following: - a hits count on the products,size,color, clarity, shape and price - a report showing the three items: the (1)customer choosing a (2)stone and a (3)store which will indicate date and time. I want to get an email when the customer places an order to the shop - When the customer places the order to the shop, the shop will get an email with the customers information including name, address, method of payment, telephone number, cell number, email, fax, products wishing to purchase and desired date - if customer states it. Again, i would also like to be notified of this transaction and have it logged in site ---------------------------------------------- 5. An admin area where i can see the hits, reports, statistics, registerd customers and stores. I want to be able to add stores as i please and configure a map service to provide for the customer. - i also want to have featured products on the side column and important news/journal on the side column which i can display one or several topics. ---------------------------------------------- 6. i also want the website to be practical so that if i decide to change the look to another template is very easy to implement a "new look" in minutes. ------------------------------------------------ 7.
