On one of my location based service websites users can download different plugins to show my data on their mobile navigation devices or within Google Earth.
The problem is, that I seldom have the time to update the three plugins. So I thought it would be cool to have it automated. I thought of a php script (or three different scripts to say it correct) to generate the plugins from my MySQL database on the fly. I already coded the part for the Google kml file. This is completed and already works fine. However, I´m now looking for a freelancer for the two remaining plugins:
Plugin I: After replacing some special chars (as I did for the Google Earth file, I can provide the routine) a TOM TOM .ov2 file should be generated. Read this: [url removed, login to view] and this for some details on the file format: [url removed, login to view] to get an idea how the structure of an ov2 file looks. After generating the file it should be added to a zip file which should also include a custom marker. The resulting zip file should be sent to the browser to open the download dialog.
Plugin II: After replacing some special chars (as above) a Garmin .csv file should be generated. After generating the file it should be added to a zip file which should also include a custom marker. The resulting zip file should be sent to the browser to open the download dialog.
Of course I am able to provide you some sample plugins for testing as well as the code of the script to generate the kml file.
Please note: As I have never used it, I´m not sure if my webspace/server supports standard zip procedures. I therefore installed pclzip which works fine. However, if you are able to implement the standard way, I would prefer that.
I´m looking forward to receive your bids on this project
