The purpose of the project is to develop a website for Hotel Room booking engine in line to the functionalities from http://www.londonnights.com.
1. Dynamic Animated Introduction
There will be an animated introduction on the home.
2. A new eye-catching logo will be created in line to the color and theme of the site.

There will be a flash showing order process, users can click on the logo of certain steps and more information will be shown.

* Implement rating systems for rooms/hotels that is defined.

* Configure fees/rates from hotels - percentage figure to calculation

6. Checkout system
*Upon checkout, the system will confirm with the user the delivery address, user is able to edit it
*Upon checkout, user is able to select delivery method and the system will add in the delivery cost respectively
*User is able to select payment method, by internet banking (3 days), ATM transfer (3 days) or by Paypal (immediately).
*After the order is submitted, an order email which includes the detail invoice would be sent to admin
*After registration, user is able to login and place orders
*User is able to update their personal info
*User is able to change password
*There will be a forgot password link for user
*There will be an order status section
*User is able to see the status (pending/confirmed/cancelled)
*User is able to submit “Payment made notification” by filling up a form

8. Ordering System
*Users have the option to pay by internet banking or credit cards or by Paypal (immediately).
*After an order is made, a notification email would be sent to admin, including payment status (paid or pending)
*Admin would receive a “Payment made notification” by Email and approve the order in the ordering system. A confirmation email would be sent to the user after approval.
*If no approval is done by the admin within 3 days, the system will cancel the reservation and return the quantity to the stock record. A notification email would be sent to both admin and the user.
*Admin is able to cancel order anytime. After cancellation, the system will auto sends a notification email to the customer.
*Admin will also be able to change order status to “delivered”
*Upon submit “delivered” status, admin would be asked to fill up some info before the notification email is sent to the customer
*Admin will be able to manage several orders at one go, except “delivered” status. e.g. select a few orders and approve at one go

CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM____________
A customized CMS system will be provided where you can manage the entire website’s content such as text, pictures and other information on the site. Once this is in place you will not require to go back to any web designer or developer to add content pages to your site. This CMS will be simple and user friendly and even someone with minimal computer skills we be able to user it. The Content Management System will have the following features:
- The advanced CMS is empowered to add custom pages with text and images.
- News, Offers, Packages and Deals can be posted to any page using this CMS
- No programming, HTML or web design skills are required to add new content to your web site thereby enabling to keep the content fresh for search engines
