You are bidding to build the UK component of what will be an International Logistic - Client Web Interface, having delivered this component the successful Provider will be invited to contract for the building and maintenance of the rest of the site on a country by country basis.
The only languages you will need are programming and 'perfect English.'
The site will consist of 3 forms with which Clents will enter information into the Database, an interface to view journeys entered, and an Inter-Client (logged in) messaging system. Clients will also have an interface to view vehicle journeys they have entered in an Account Statement format.
Form 1 - Register.
Besides basic Client details, information entered on this form will grant permissions for Clients and their individual users to access specific information held on the Database.
Forms 2 and 3.
These forms will allow Clients and their individual users to enter two types of vehicle journey information into the Database.
Information entered on the Database can then be viewed and filtered by Clients using the main site window interface which will provide fully adjustable heirarchy, and an 'add extra pane' facility to view different Client-tailored filtering simultaneously.
The site will need to be presented in a very 'slick' look and feel, the successful Provider will pretty much have a 'free hand' with the Graphic Design. All copywriting will be supplied by us. Postcode verification and checking software and licenses will also be supplied by us although we are open to alternative proposals. All Domains and UK dedicated Server will be supplied by us, although in consideration of on-going site maintenance we are flexible to alternative proposals.
We hope to establish a very long-term professional relationship with the successful Provider, only very professionally presented bids will be considered, "I program good - let's do it" will be ignored.
The successful Provider will be required to sign and return a Non-Disclosure agreement before Project commencement.
