I'm a real estate agent with a standard website using GoDaddy for my hosting. It's a Linux hosting plan.
I have a separate directory for my mobile files. The directory is something like /mobile/[url removed, login to view]
**First, I want to add a script to my homepage that will redirect any mobile browser to a mobile web page.
Next, I want to add a "Search for homes" feature to this site for mobile users. I have active raw feed data in ascii text format from our local real estate board. They provide a file that is downloaded each day containing all the data for homes on the market in our area.
I want mobile users to be able to search for a home by various categories and return the current active data to their mobile device. Also, I use a template that needs to be applied to all the resulting pages so that my site remains consistent.
I'm a real estate agent, not a company. This would be only for my use and my potential clients use to find a home.
It could be developed in whatever script is best for mobile users including asp, php, or whatever is needed.
I don't know how to install or use PHP, so I would need to have this installed on my server with GoDaddy as well as upload any files to my server. I'm not familiar with PHP or ASP, etc... I only know how to develop with html pages.
