I have a couple clients that want to be able to update portions of their website. Easiest scenario would be to create and lock a template through Dreamweaver. But they’re using FrontPage, and I can’t find any way of locking the format of pages in FrontPage. so my second choice, and I think this would be somewhat easy, is having them update a document (whether .doc or .txt, whatever…) and for my .html page (whether we use a script in the page itself, or flash, whichever...) to always retrieve the data from this document when the page loads.
Is there an easy way to do this without getting involved in SQL?
I'll need all source files (this is also a learning process for me!), as I’ll be emulating your method across a few pages…
