Tara Store - Using a Class to Store Global Variables
Please note - Code at top of page.
Public ReadOnly Property StoreName() As String
The identifier StoreName is already used as a private variable, so it cannot be used as a [url removed, login to view] is the way to solve it:
Public ReadOnly Property NewStoreName() As String
Code in the middle of the page.
The code uses a variable called NewStoreName without defining it. To correct the error, the code should start as
Public Class TaraStoreClass
Private NewStoreName as String
Code at the bottom of the page.
The "Set" part of the property should be
Set(ByVal NewValue As String)
StoreName = NewValue
Tara Store-Using a Class to Stor Global Variables.
You have been assigned to create a class to store variables that will be reused throughout your Web site. Your manager would like you to create a class named [url removed, login to view], which will contain the properties for the Web site. The class should define private variables and public properties. You must create a Web page to retrieve and display these values. Create a Web page named [url removed, login to view] that display these properties. You need to create properties to store the name of the store (Tara Store), the address (555 Michigan Ave, Chicago IL 60016), e-mail address (info tarastore com), phone number (800-555-5555), store description (We provide a variety of Irish cultural products including china, crystal, pottery, food, clothing, books, music, jewelry, bridal, and gifts.), number of visitors per year (3,245,120), and tax rate (8%). Add graphics, color, content, and text to enhance the appearance of your Web page.
