I am a veteren FoxPro 2.6 programmer. I have prototyped my project (without multimedia elements) in FP2.6 but this project requires features only available in VFP. I need tutorial help with the fundamentals of VFP and then specific hands-on help with a simple shell structure with few datafiles, sequentially triggered forms and timing elements. Very simple, but I am wasting time trying to figure out OOP in VFP. This project also requires embedding of audio files and movie files on forms (not spawning of browser from hyperlink). While the .exe and .dbfs run on desktop as stand-alone app, .mov (etc.) files will be on web server or ftp server (and/or alternately on a CD volume.) You must understand how that is made to work, as I do not know how (hot point). No browser issues involved, only simple desktop app pulling multimedia files off remote ftp or webserver and embeddng them in form. Will consider turning over prototype and specs to the right person for full realization, followed by tutorial with me on source code so I can figure out what you did. In such case I would retain all rights and require installation program, as well. Please quote hourly rate and qualifications. Prefer tutoring/colaberation in my office in Pasadena, CA, USA but will work virtually if you have excellent remote communication skills. English language only, any nationality welcome. Experienced VFP vets only, please. [NOTE: the 'delivery date' issued on this project is for the first, main, tutoring session. If executed in full, more time would be allotted] Thank you for considering this project. I am honest, straight and professional. John Donohue Pasadena, CA USA john@[url removed, login to view]
