Decode 3D Binary file format to clear text C++ routine

We have many samples of a 3D geometry file format and a specification of the structure. We need a C++ routine to be written to read these files and generate ASCII text equivalent. The project will require decoding a binary data stream. The most important part will be to define some C++ classes (or Python) to decode, parse and interpret the file structure, building in-memory data structures. The clear text output will be used for diagnostics and debugging, it does not have to match any particular specification, but something like XML would be a bonus. At a successfull implementation of this decoding project a follow-on encoding project will be proposed as a private bid to the coder. The specification is available now and will be supplied to bidders on request. The files contain 3D geometric information such as vertices, lines, polygons, colors, textures, transformations, materials, and labels. The project will follow this outline: 1. Review file specification documents. 2. Prototype development, based on known ASCII equivalent of binary files. 3. Supply source code to buyer, ASCII output files with each status report. Source should be well-commented and well structured. 4. Write up findings in a technical report, describing issues encountered, both successfull and unsuccessful, most likely pathways for further investigation and development, software architecture issues. Deliverables: Source code, ready for build and test, technical documentation Conditions: Weekly status reports by email, all copyright and intellectual property over code and documentation will be owned by buyer, and will remain confidential. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows?
