Greetings:
I need a C or C++ routine that would tag words according their part of speech (noun, verb, adjective, adverb, etc) and, if possible, do low level parsing (noun phrase, verb phrase, etc).
Most of the texts would not be too linguistically complex.
I'd like the tagger to be at least 97 percent accurate. We can negotiate the accuracy of the parser.
I would test the routine using bare text against its pre-tagged and pre-parsed equivalent (Treebank, etc.).
