When an email is sent from an Outlook client, if the body of the text message includes a key text string, a row is added to a table in an Access database that includes information from the body of the email. Here’s an example: Say an Outlook client sends an email at 5:03 pm on 1/27/03 that contains the following text: This is a test message. Here is some key text: DNTN002 DNCN006 DNPGS11 This is the end of the message. When the person hits ‘send’, the following information should be added to a table like this: Date Time DNTN DNCN DNPGS 1/27/03 5:03 002 006 11 Outlook clients are outside of an intranet, so the database needs to be web enabled to allow designated users to have this behavior trigger when they send messages from anywhere with an internet connection.
