First of all, I would like someone with some experience in actual scratching, but this is not a strict requirement in this project because if you can comprehend what scratching is at all, you will be able to make this excellent application. If anyone has seen the "turntable simulation" in Fruity Loops 3.0.. this is similar to what I want. Load a sample, and move the picture of the turntable like it's a real live deck. However, I want to be able to set points at which the record will go forward and backwards between and set the order in which this will happen, the speed in which this will happen, and be able to map out every movement of simulated scratch. Then I want to be able to listen to the created scratch and edit it where ever necessary to hone it to a perfectly engineered sound. At that point, you could export(Save) the sound as a .wav file for use as an audio sample for use in music production. The picture showing is a screenshot of the turntable from Fruity Loops 3.0. I would like it to look similar, but not exactly the same, and have the added features I requested. Questions? Comments? please email me with any and all of them.
