Senior J2EE developer for contract/hire

We are currently seeking experienced java J2EE Developers with excellent communication skills and strong team mentoring/building techniques. Must be experienced in all phases of application development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, unit test, system test, load testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and production support of an enterprise N-tier J2EE-based application platform. ## Deliverables All deliverables must be [uploaded to Rent A Coder][1] before the deadline(s) for this project...with no exceptions. If this contract makes it impossible for a competent person to do this, then [do not start this project][2]...but instead alert Rent A Coder of an [un-arbitratable, illegal][3] project. Required skills: -English -commitment -hard working -problem solving -honest -regular skype conversations (must have fast link) Preferred experience includes: Linux, C/C++, MSQL, Oracle, J2EE architecture and other related components including JNDI, JSP/JSF/TILES, JCA, JAAS, Hibernate JTA, JBoss, JMS, JDBC, JTA, Tomcat, Apache, Aspect J, Mbean, Axis Web Services, XML RPC. Experienced in managing / using a solid source control model with integrated configuration management is a plus. Knowledge of the following configuration management tools is a plus: Ant, Maven, CVS, Eclipse, Bugzilla, CVSZilla, Junit automation, Tinderbox. We will have a technical interview with candidates and go over your past projects. Our project will consist of adding additional modules / functionality to an already existing J2EE platform. We will also need to generate numerous JSP (potentially JSF) pages. Flash components and design may also be included in the presentation layer. During the first part of the project you will have to be available for part of the day during West Coast U.S. hours. We can then arrange for your schedule to be changed to a more convenient timeframe for you if US West Coast Time is inconvenient. You will be working with other developers to add additional functionality to an already developed J2EE platform. This will be a team effort and everyone’s thoughts and comments on how the development should proceed will be appreciated. The project will last approximately 2 to 6 months.
