VNC-based remote support program

I’m looking for someone to develop code based around RealVNC (other VNC variants will be considered) to enable me to provide remote desktop support. These customers are mostly individuals, behind routers, so the connection must be initiated from their end. Process: 1. Customer calls for help. I provide either a link to a download or email them a small executable. (500k or less) 2. Executable unpacks, runs, and pops up a terms and conditions page that they must agree to. 3. Customer enters a ticket number and zip code. Executable queries a web service, which returns with either a "FQDN:port" which it dials out to, a “wait?? response which causes it to requery until a different response is given, or a "fail" response which blocks any further action and triggers an uninstall. 4. It will connect to my VNC client, which I’ll have listening. 5. When complete, I’ll click on an icon in the system tray (which is on the customer/server side) to trigger a close of the session and a complete deinstall of the product. This icon can be triggered by customer as well if I lose connectivity. Other notes: * No reboot should be necessary for client to initiate connection (doesn’t appear to be an issue with RealVNC 4). * The preferred solution is RealVNC 4, stunnel, and openSSH: see <[login to view URL]> * Encryption is required ??" and an ssh tunnel appears to be the most platform-independent solution (as opposed to UltraVNC and DSM plugin) * Rebooting during the process should be possible (once rebooted, the server/customer side should automatically try and reconnect) * Incoming connections to the server/client should be disabled * Being able to reboot into safe mode w/networking would be a valued option, not sure if possible. Joe ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
