Hello Coders! I am looking for someone who knows .CSS to make a clean stylesheet for my new home page.
You will be provided photoshop files to work from. Some of the photoshop files contain Mac based fonts that you must be able to open and work with. The finished product will closely or exactly match the original photoshop files.
There are 3 pages in total. All three have a common top navigation, and overall the design of the pages is relatively simple --> meaning that the HTML cutup work for this job is fairly simple. I think it could probably be accomplished with 6-8 tables although some of the tables may be nested ones.
I've seen some very elegant CSS work where the entire page was created with just a few list elements <li>. If you know how to achieve this, that would be a plus. The content of the pages might change, so you should know how to code the page so that it expands vertically when the content gets bigger or smaller. It should fit on an 800x600 screen at all times, with vertical scrolling allowed.
_About Your Bid_
Call me lazy or overworked, I just can't learn how to do the CSS coding myself on this project. That is why I am posting it here for open bidding. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of CSS and enthusiasm for the project can help me out.
Please provide **at least ONE example** of your work. I have quite a bit of experience with web work and I **will** definitely look at your example (including 'view source').
If you can't provide an example I won't be able to evaluate your bid. Don't waste your time.
...and if you win the project I look forward to the pleasure of working with you.
1) You must agree NOT to post any original or derivative works related to this project online
**unless prior written consent is given**.
2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
4) **All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law**. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
4.0 and higher Internet browsers that support CSS.
The finished product will be tested on windows and macintosh platforms.
The finished product should degrade nicely for non-CSS compatible browsers.
