I need a website so that employers can post job openings. The employers will be able to create an account, and then post jobs within certain categories. The jobs can then be searched and browsed by City, Company, Province, Type of Job, and by Date Added. Employees will also have a separate login area where they can post resumes. The companies will pay to have their postings online, so there must be some PayPal integration. The content will be user generated, so that the employers themselves can post the jobs and modify the descriptions in real time. The most important things about this project is the database, which will house the posting, the layout of the site - not too much graphics, but must be easy to use. The postings must also be SEO enabled, so that we have clear H1,H2,H3 parameters and job posting titles should appear in the title links. I am also wondering if it would be possible to have the job site work so that job seekers can post a resume on the site, and the resumes can be browsable by the employers. (But maybe in order to actually contact the posters, the employers would have to sign up and pay a sign up fee). Would this be very complex? I currently have a host which gives me about 800mb of server space. Would this be sufficient for a small to medium sized site... probably under 500 users, very few graphics. **The site would be a jobsite for doctors, so it would have fewer search fields than a regular job site. Also, the site interface will be in french (I already have the translations done. Some of the database entries will be french, which I will give to you, and the interface is easy, I already have the translation.)**
The following are some specs for the project. Hi, I have written out all the requirements in as much detail as possible. I am certain that there must be current scripts out there that can be modified for my needs, so this will reduce unnecessary production time on your part. For the postings, they should be SEO enabled so that titles appear in the title bar and url of the pages, sort of like how pages are seo enabled in a blog post. Here is the info, tell me what you think. You can click here [url removed, login to view] for a sample of a sketch of a front page that I made. I have sent you and English copy, and a French copy. You can copy the words that I wrote in the French copy for the actual site, and you can use the English copy as a reference for yourself. Also, for the employees, for posting a resume it will be free, just a simple sign up page with login. For employers, they will have 2 options. They can pay a larger fee to post ads on the site- 1 fee per year would enable them to post as many ads as they want for a year. These employers can also search the resumes and get the contact information of the resume posters for free. But, for other employers, there will be a reduced fee where they will not be able to post any ads, but they can search the resumes and see the contact information for the employees and contact the employees. Any other person coming to the site will be able to search the resumes, but the contact information for employees will be hidden from view. I like the two following sites: [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] and the script from this site seems like it may be useful [url removed, login to view] The layout and feel of way2career is nice, but I like the technical aspects of the nspire site because it uses a lot more text rather than text imbedded in graphics, so this will help with SEO. Site Search: The site must be searchable by region - I will supply you a list with about 20 locations: The establishments can choose one or more of these regions, and the jobs will be searchable by region. The following are some other areas which the site will be searchable by. Date d'inscription //this is simply the date of the listing. It is not a searchable field, but rather a listing feature so that the listings can be searched by date added, ... example, list newest first. Région de travail // The following are the regions- the applicant can check more than one. (this will be in the advanced search) By type of job as follows. Below is a dropdown menu Type de médecin: //This would be the header in the dropdown menu followed by a list of searchable fields which would make up the 20 or so classes of doctors.// Also, it must be searchable by a type of work called Moonlighting. This means a type of student doctor who will work during the night or at off hours. Also, the site must be searchable by the following: Milieu de travail // this means type of work -// In a dropdown menu, the establishments can choose from 4 categories - hôpital, clinique, clinique privée, autre. A person can search by any or all of these categories. (advanced search) Employer postings: When a hospital or other employer is looking to post an add there should be the following categories that the employer must fill in. Nom de l'établissement // This is the name of the establishment, each paying user will have only one establishment name, so this will be pre filled. It is a searchable category// mandatory Période // This is the date or season that the job will start. This is not a searchable category, so it can be left blank// not mandatory Spécialités recherchées //This is the type of specialty they are looking for. This is a searchable category (dropdown menu) and it must be filled in. The establishments can select more than one.// mandatory Unités ? couvrir // This is just for hospitals to say what type of units will be covered. This is not searchable and can be left blank// not mandatory Milieu de travail // this means type of work -In a dropdown menu, the establishments can choose from 4 categories - hôpital, clinique, clinique privée, autre.// The employer can select more than one. mandatory Personne responsable //This is the person responsible for the posting. There may be more than one person responsible for different posting per hospital. This must be filled in and is non searchable. mandatory Coordonnées // The address of the establishment. This will be pre filled from the login info from each user, but the establishment will be able to change or modify it for the posting , or even to leave it blank// Email // This is an email category. It is not pre filled as it can change for each job post. It can be left blank // Telephone // This is a telephone category. It is not pre filled as it can change for each job post. It can not be left blank // mandatory Titre// this is an ad title that the establishments can create. It can be up to 100 characters.// mandatory Autres spécifications // Other specification, This should be a large text box that can be filled in by the establishment where they can write details about the position. It should be a large box, so they can fill in maybe up to 5000 characters// Moonlighting // This is a yes/no category which must be filled in. mandatory Temps Plein // This means full time... This is a check off box that employers can choose if they want full time workers. An employer can choose both moonlighting and temps plein if he wants... which would mean that he is open to finding workers in both areas. Région// This is the region that the establishment is located in. It will be a dropdown menu using the same regions as above. The employer must be able to choose more than one region if he wants. mandatory --------
**I think the best approach would be to write the site mostly in English, and then I can translate most of it to French, and either I will rewrite the html in French, or I will translate and pay you to do it. This will not be a major issue. But since the front page is already translated, you can do the front page in french. The site will not be difficult to do. It will be like any other job site, just more specialized for doctors, so that means you will just have to modify a standard database. As for the translation, this will be easy... there are some scripts on the market that already have a translated version, and if not, I can translate, and then just pay you a supplemental fee to make the modifications.** 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

When an employee is posting an add, he should fill out categories such as Nom - //this is the name, there should also be a little check off box beside it that the person can click if he wants his name to be confidential and to not appear on the site. If the person clicks confidential, then even paying members will not be able to view the persons name.// mandatory Telephone //It will only be viewable to paying members//But, there should also be a little check off box beside it that the person can click if he wants his number to be confidential and to not appear on the site.
