I need a program (in C) for a PDT 3100 portable data terminal, 1MB RAM, DR DOS operating system. The terminal include a laser bar code scanner.
The program must include 5 menus, Scan, Edit, Send Data, Get Data and Observations.
Scan - enable internal laser scanner to scan some bar code already existing on some products, decode, display and save in the internal RAM the result.
Edit - provide a means to modify (edit) the internal saved data
Send Data - send all saved data, using the RS232 interface, through an asynchronous or GSM modem. There are not special restrictions, but I need to know exactly the specifications because I must read all this data using an ordinary computer and send them in a Excel table.
Get Data - read some data, using the RS232 interface, from other equipments (max. 50KB)
Observations - permit to the operator to write some observations
All informations about PDT3100 are available at [url removed, login to view] .com or [[url removed, login to view]] where you can find an Application Programmers Guide and an Application Developer Kit.
For any other information, please, don't hesitate to ask me.
