The changes required are listed below:
Changes in admin section:
1. Make Model
Currently using a component that allows the user to add an vehicle in the admin section. At present the Make and model data are stored in separate tables in mysql. In the admin page there are separate make and model drop down boxes for the user to add the vehicle details. This task involves combining the make and model data to create dynamic drop down boxes so that once a make has been selected only models associated with that make are displayed.
1. New Field
Add free text field for each vehicle for derivative Information
1. Adding images
The component currently uses the default image management component to add images to vehicles. This means entering a separate are of the site uploading all the images that are required for all vehicles been added and then adding then selecting the appropriate image from the list when the vehicle is been added. Instead the user should be able to browse and upload four images when they create / edit a vehicle. These images should only be associated with that particular vehicle and therefore should be deleted when the vehicle is removed. I have a different component installed that manages image uploads how I would like them to work and would allow the winning coder to access this to understand my exact requirements.
The completed code will then need to be amended in the component install file for future use.
