PHP/SQL project - ongoing work available

An inexperienced PHP programmer has written a piece of code for us that is difficult to maintain and inefficient. It needs to be re-written and we want to find a programmer who knows how to structure and write efficient, clean, and well-commented code. IMPORTANT: To bid for this job, review the attached files and read the "[login to view URL]" file for more detailed instructions. In the readme file is a login and password to view the php file in operation. After reviewing the php code, briefly list the changes and improvements you would make if you were to rewrite the code. You must provide us with your recommended changes in order to be considered for this task. The programmer who gives us the best revision recommendations will be selected for this project. The project itself is to revise the code according to your own recommendations. If we are happy with your performance on this project, we will offer full time work. If you are not available for full time work, pelase do not bid on this project. Excellent English is a prerequisite for this job as clear and quick communication is crucial. The minimum skills required for ongoing work include: PHP, SQL, HTML, and javascript. It's helpful, but not required if you have experience with: postgreSQL, Smarty, and CVS We require that you install and use Yahoo Messenger to enable faster communication with our team. ## Deliverables Deliverables: 1) To bid for the job, you will be required to deliver a list of recommended changes to the code. Once your bid is accepted, you will then have 1 week to deliver: 2) Complete, fully-tested, and functional working revised code. A testing environment will be provided. ## Platform PHP: Linux HTML/Javascript: IE 5.5 or greater and Mozilla/Firefox.
