we need to insert part of data in database A to database B. We deviced to export data into an external script. The script should be written this way: insert into table1( field1, field2, ... fieldN ) values( field1_value, field2_value, ... fieldN_value ) ... insert into table2( field1, field2, ... fieldM ) values( field1_value, field2_value, ... fieldM_value ) ... We come out with the attached code. In the end, we had to stop because GetTableValue raises an exception when the field type is not varchar. We understood what happens reading these lines from "Complete Release Notes for 1.5.x ": "Return values are strictly checked for data type in order to avoid unpredictable type-casting exceptions. For example, the string '1234' would convert to an integer, 1234, but 'abc' would give a conversion error." The coder will fix the problem and provide a working (we already have a not-working one ) SP . All the code we wrote can be changed, provided the result is obtained. Note that we need to export only 1 department of the database. Every table has field ID_DPT (integer) that states the department the record belongs to. Every table has an integer PK which is different in the whole database. Only one generator (pr_gen) is used in whole database. The database is NOT provided. The coder will have to simulate data on a fake database.
